About 757 Daily

Your guide to the best things happening in Hampton Roads.

What We Do

Every Thursday at 7 AM, we send you a carefully curated rundown of the best events, restaurant openings, and local news across Hampton Roads. No fluff, no clickbait -- just the stuff you actually want to know about.

We cover everything from weekend festivals to new brewery openings, military family events to HRBT traffic updates. If it matters to the 757, it matters to us.

Who We Are

757 Daily was started by a military family who moved to Hampton Roads and realized there wasn't a single, reliable place to find out what was happening across the region.

We're a small team building the hyperlocal news source we wished existed when we got here. Active-duty military background means we understand OPSEC and serve the military community with care.

This is a bootstrapped operation. No venture capital, no corporate overlords. Just people who live here, care about this community, and want to make it easier for you to enjoy everything Hampton Roads has to offer.

OPSEC Notice

757 Daily serves military families across Hampton Roads. We never publish ship movements, deployment schedules, unit-level operational details, or any information that could compromise operational security. All military content comes from public affairs office releases, MWR calendars, and lifestyle/community sources only.

Our Promise

We don't use AI to generate fake events or "realistic examples." Every event, restaurant, and recommendation is real and verified by a human.

We'll never sell your email address. We won't spam you with daily emails. And we'll always be honest about what's sponsored content and what isn't.

This is a passion project solving a real problem, not a cash grab. We charge local businesses for sponsorships because it lets us keep the newsletter free for everyone.
